January 4th - Friends

I took a random chance that H. would be available to chat.  So nice to hear her voice, and hear how she is doing.  So grateful that she picked up the phone even though it was right before supper.

January 2nd = compliments

Another wonderful family outing swimming at the Sportsplex and then to Ela for supper.  So thankful that we had a talented waiter who was kind and attentive to the children.  He also gave me a compliment as a parent saying how mature and well behaved the children were.  I sooo needed to hear that we're doing it right....well, at least, some of the time. 

January 1st = staying warm

What a beautiful time on the Halifax Oval today.  So proud of us getting out as a family. Getting everyone skating.  And not freezing!
So thankful for wool socks and polyester long johns for everyone :)
